I just finished watching this week’s episode of the Office, and cried. I never realized until now how much I am going to miss Michael Scott. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to watch the show without him.

to sleep or not to sleep?
The Royal Wedding is in 6 hours. I am getting up in 5 hours so I can bake scones to eat with my mom while we watch. Also, I tried on a Walmart version of Kate/Diana’s engagement ring… a liiiitle too much for me, besides I already have the perfect ring on my finger.

Wedding plans = death
So I spent all day sitting at my kitchen table today planning with my Mom. It was fun for the first 5 minutes, then when I realized that we had like nothing done, it got discouraging. Then I decided we should push through and get as much done as possible. Then I was exhausted and grumpy. Then I ate a lot of chocolate. Now I am exhausted so kind of wanting to go to sleep really early, but also not wanting to go to sleep at all for fear of having a wedding nightmare.
On the bright side, I talked to my friend who is making the cake and got that all figured out, which is super exciting, and talked to the guy doing the invitations which should be here by the end of the month, which is great! And I made the “List of Everything” that includes eeeeeverything that we need to do before the wedding, everything involved in the wedding day, and how we are transporting things and people to and from the ceremony/reception etc. Hoooooooly cow I had no idea weddings involved this much. Now I know why people hire wedding planners, it’s for real a full-time job. Speaking of a job, I probably need to look for one after the wedding… eff.
